Kurunegala Regional Centre Library
Kurunegala Regional Centre Library is a regional centre library among the OUSL-wide network of libraries. Kurunegala Regional Centre Library is located at Negombo Road, Kurunegala, servicing the Kurunegala and Puttalam clusters.
The Kurunegala Regional Centre Library provides many facilities and services for the staff and the students. The library is facilitate to the teaching, learning and researching of the University through the use of information resources and user-oriented services.

Our library offers a range of facilities to support your learning and research needs.
| Membership
Eligible User Categories for Library Membership:
- Registered OUSL students from Level 03 and above
- Registered OUSL students enrolled in two-year diploma programmes
- Postgraduate degree students
- Permanent academic, administrative, and non-academic staff
- Temporary staff
- Visitors (one-day membership available)
Library Membership Fees:
- Undergraduate students: Rs. 500/=
- Postgraduate students: Rs. 5,000/=
- Visitors: Rs. 100/= per day
Staff Membership Conditions:
- Permanent Staff: No fee + Application form with Head's signature
- Temporary Staff with UPF: No fee + Application form with Head's signature
- Temporary Staff without UPF: Refundable deposit of Rs. 2,000/= + Application form
How to Obtain the Library Membership:
- Step 01: Fill in the "Application for Library Membership"
- Step 02: Pay the relevant library membership fee directly at the KuRC Library
- Step 03: Submit the following documents:
- Fully completed application form
- National Identity Card (NIC)
- Student Record Book (only for students)
- Library membership payment receipt
- One recent passport-size photograph

| Borrowing Facility
Undergraduates:
- You can borrow two (02) books for two (02) weeks.
- If you want you can renew once again for another two (02) weeks.
Fines:
- Fines of Rs.10/= per day is assessed on overdue materials
